C.A.I.S CONSTITUTION

(a) To provide help for Street People and Single Parent families from Multi-Cultural Backgrounds; which also includes Aboriginal, Metis, and those people ostracized from their own community, and others.

(b) To reach out and educate the community of the importance of rehabilitating, or assisting Street People and their Families, in any way possible, in the immediate term, and for future generations to come.

(c) To help reduce drug addiction among populations, which is the cause of the revolving door crime continuum for many persons who permeate our justice system, with diseases such as: Hepatitis C, B, Aides and so on.

(d) To articulate CAIS's desire of Staff Members, Community Members. Corporations, Advocacy Groups and Gouverment, to fulfill the duties of serving both the Society and our Clients Interests.

(e) To respect and be dedicated to helping others and if that message shall wane then to rightfully withdraw from the cause.

(f) To provide an outreach Buddy-System to help persons in need be it: by providing an anonymous 1-800/24 hour help line to reach all persons in areas such as: Montreal, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and even those that may be cut off from mainstream society such as, Urban Communities and reserves.

- by providing programs that touch on community awareness issues, sensitivity to different cultural needs, personnel development, ie: self-esteem building, with respect for all individual opinions, be it not of your own opinion but taken in accordance with the societies research policies and general mandate.

(g) Assistance in providing resource information for job creation, community activities and so on, for aid in grassroots community building.
